At Ri Dearg Koons, our Maine Coons live in a comfortable, home-based environment where they are an integral part of daily life. We follow an open cage policy, allowing our cats freedom to roam, explore, and interact with family members while ensuring their safety and well-being. I am home most of the time, providing consistent care, attention, and socialization.

We proudly specialize in stunning Maine Coons in rich, vibrant shades of reds and the striking, elegant tones of smokes. Our breeding program focuses on enhancing these colors while maintaining healthy, well-tempered kittens, ensuring each kitten not only looks beautiful but also thrives as a loving companion.

Our breeding cats are fully vetted and vaccinated, so every kitten is born into a healthy environment. We specialize in American Maine Coons with the classic, original look—rounder faces, well-proportioned muzzles, and characteristic tufted ears—rather than the European style with oversized ears and elongated features. While our focus is on pets rather than show lines, our kittens reflect the breed’s friendly, affectionate, and playful personality traits, making them well-adjusted, loving companions for their forever homes.
