At Ri Dearg Koons, the health, safety, and comfort of our kittens is our top priority. While we love connecting our kittens with families across the country, we do not offer traditional shipping. Instead, we provide safe, carefully managed transport options to ensure a smooth and secure transition to their new homes.

Local Pick-Up

Kittens may be picked up directly from our home in Houston, Texas.
Please bring a secure carrier and ensure the kitten will travel safely and comfortably.

Breeder-Arranged Pet Courier

We can arrange a professional Pet Courier for long-distance transport.
The Pet Parent is responsible for all courier fees, which vary depending on location.
The breeder ensures the courier is reputable, experienced, and trained in the safe handling of kittens during travel.

Breeder Transport within Houston

For families located in the Houston area, the breeder may provide personal transport to a mutually agreed-upon location.
Transport is handled with care, keeping the kitten comfortable and stress-free.

No Home Visits or Shipping Services

We do not offer home visits prior to placement.
Video calls, photos, and regular updates are provided once a contract is signed.

Travel Preparation & Safety

Kittens are always transported in secure, well-ventilated carriers.
They are comfortable, calm, and provided with familiar items to reduce stress during travel.
Families are provided with guidance to help the kitten adjust to its new environment immediately upon arrival.
